I bought this to use as backing paper for a framed poem I received on Chinese parchment. The parchment has gold lined patterns and I wanted a gold backing for the frame to bring out the patterns. For that purpose, it does very well. The patterns really stand out with the bright gold border matting. Only, the material is much thinner than I anticipated and as a result is also wrinkly. Still, I went to 4 stores in town, during Christmas, trying to find plain gold paper and couldn’t find anything! So at least this was out there!
